Eco del Mare, is one of the those places that make your holidays memorable. The beach is private, and the tents are very comfortable. The water was warm, and the hotel, is so well built around the rocks. We were there just for the day, but loved everything about it. It has this hippie chic vibe.
The food for lunch was great as was the service.
Had a gorgeous lunch experience here. Impeccable setting, amazing water, rocky beach, cave bar, delicious wine & food!
My friend struggled with steps but agreed it was well worth it!
We went to Eco del Mare for a lunch, and it was beautiful. The beach and the property is truly stunning, however I do have several complaints.
1) We had a booking and spent a lot of money on a nice bottle of wine and lunch for 4; we then wanted to spend the rest of the day at the beach (assuming we could do this as lunch guests) - we were quoted 94EUROS per person!!! That is truly insane. For 4 of us to sit on the beach, it would have been more than our lunch would have (and by the way, we just wanted to sit on the towels that we brought with us). No one told us that the beach would cost money, and no where says that lunch guests can not use the beach that is at the restaurant.
I'D ALSO LIKE TO NOTE THAT THIS WAS IN MAY, ONE WEEK AFTER THEY REOPENED, AND WE WERE THE ONLY GUESTS THERE...bizarre to charge this much. We would have stayed the rest of the afternoon, buying more drinks and more food -- a huge loss on your part in terms of business.
2) The women at the front desk were quite rude and felt 'too cool' once they quoted us the price for the beach -- they replied and said 'this is OUR beach and this is the price'
If you do decide to go -- don't pay the 15 EURO fee to park at 'their' car park -- there's free public parking just a little bit up on the right, and you can easily walk down to go to the restaurant.
Breathtaking place.. amazing beach and privacy during busy italian season.. food 🔝🔝 ..details, decorations.. I wish to myself and my family to come back as often as possible.. Grazie e complimenti! 🙏🙏🙏👏👏👏
This place is Amazing! My husband and I spent 10 days at Eco Del Mare in August for our special occasion. The place is a rare find. It is quite, peaceful and serene especially in the morning and evenings. The water so clear!
The staff was great and attentive. Ivan, Greta, Christina and the rest of the staff took very good care of us. The cheif makes very good seafood dishes and he even made a couple of dishes for us that were not on the menu upon our request to which we were grateful for.
They have live band playing blues/jazz music on weekends in the evenings which we really enjoyed.
We ran into the owner a couple of times and she was very pleasant and asked if we are enjoying our stay.
One thing to note is that even though the hotel has only 6 rooms they rent Sun beds on the beach and the place gets crowded in the afternoons.
Overall we had a wonderful time there and we will definitely return.
The location is really wonderful, a private beach (nobody else) between cliffs and trees, and blue green water. It is very calm. You have to get down from the parking to the resort using the stairs or the lift. Some of the pillows on the beach can be used in the water (they float).
Bad side: the restaurant is far too expensive for the quality.
And BEWARE: you have to pay for the parking in cash (15€) when you arrive.
This is a lovely small isolated bay, the beach is well set out with umbrellas and shade curtains where you can laze on very large beanbags or traditional sunbeds.
The service from all staff is excellent and the food, had evening meal, was verygood so all in all very nice day.
This is a lovely secluded private beach with a nice restaurant serving very good food. The way down to the beach is by foot and part way by lift.
Nice shaded sunbeds good clean beach.Drinks with waiter service all in all a good enjoyable experience.
